Four Afghan citizens have lost their lives while performing Hajj Pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia. One of the men died while circumambulating Mecca (The House of God) and three others died of unknown illnesses and poor health facilities in Mecca.

Last year 8 Afghan Citizens lost their lives in a bloody disaster at Mina.

24,000 Afghan Citizens had flown to Saudi Arabia for Hajj Pilgrimage this year and a number of religious figures said that, due to inefficient management of Saudi Arabia, a number of Muslims lose their lives every year.

Mawlavi Habibullah Isam, Head of the Council of Islamic Brotherhood believes that the council is not capable of managing the Hajj Pilgrimage and that the weakness in their mismanagement gives birth to such disasters. He also believes that a supreme council in coordination with Islamic World should be created in order to prevent such disasters.

He said the occurrence of disasters in Hajj Pilgrimage may have several reasons behind it but Saudi Arabi’s mismanagement is considered as the main reason for such occurrence.
