A Taliban leader killed, and an intelligence chief of them arrested in the North

The ministry of interior confirmed that a prominent Taliban commander has been killed and their intelligence officer has been arrested in the north of the Afghanistan.

The operations have carried on against the Taliban last night in Kunduz province.

The Afghan interior ministry said that commander Jannat, known as Khoroti, who was one of the key members of the Taliban group has been killed along with 6 of his comrades in Char Dara village of Kunduz in an airstrike.

The terrorist group has been involved in planning and organizing insurgent attacks in Chahar Dara district and other parts of Kunduz, said MoI.

Another key member of the Taliban group has also been detained by Afghan security forces in Parwan province.

According to Afghan defense ministry, Abdul Samad who was responsible for the intelligence and guidance of the Taliban attacks has been identified and seized while passing a national army’s checkpoint in Siagard district of Parwan province.
