A delegation of the Afghan Mellat and the National Front of Afghanistan (NNF) headed by Anwar-ul-Haq Ahadi has reportedly met with the governor of Balkh, Atta Muhammad Noor, a senior member of the “Coalition for the Rescue of Afghanistan”.

The meeting was held on Thursday in Balkh Northern province.

The two sides discussed on the “Coalition for the Rescue of Afghanistan”, a newly-established opposition coalition.

Anwar-ul-Haq Ahadi, former Commerce Minister and the chairman of the New National Front of Afghanistan (NNF) at the meeting said, the country’s current situation is not acceptable at all as every day the innocent people are being victimized in the country.

In his part, Noor said, the government’s lack of attention to the views of political parties and social organizations and the monopoly of power by the government has created a climate of distrust among the people and has led to the spread of the crisis in the country.

He asserted that the “Coalition for the Rescue of Afghanistan” main aims is at getting the country out of the current crisis.

If the New National Front of Afghanistan (NNF), which is a coalition involving six other major parties, mainly from a Pashtun ethnic, reached an agreement with the “Coalition for the Rescue of Afghanistan”, the circle of critics of Ashraf Ghani’s government will become wider, which will ultimately have no other choice except to negotiate with the opposition coalitions.
